[full-time] Babysitting and Support Services for Seniors at Joe

We are currently seeking an opportunity to supplement our income by being available to provide the following type of services to families residing in the Algarve:

· Conversation and companionship (Senior Individuals)
We are able and willing to provide senior individuals with conversation in both English and Portuguese for a few hours a day, weekly or on an as needed basis.

· Meal preparation
We can assist in the preparation of light healthy meals.

· Light housekeeping
We can assist with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms – including sinks, showers, tubs and toilet – cleaning kitchens, sinks, appliances, counters, empting rubbish bins, straightening rooms, organising cupboards, wardrobes and drawers, washing inside windows, etc.

· Errand services and Grocery shopping
We can run errands such as picking up prescriptions, going to the post office, buying food, etc.

· Respite or relief for family
We can assist family members and give other care-givers time off from the day-to-day care of familiars.

· Grooming and dressing guidance
We can assist individuals with their attire, including assistance with washing hair.

· Incidental transportation
We can drive the senior individuals to appointments with doctors and other medical practitioners, hairdressers, shops or wherever they need or want to go.

· Basic personal administration and secretarial services
We can assist in writing the necessary letters, ensuring that bills are dully paid, follow-up on anything that requires administrative assistance. In addition we can facilitate the use of a laptop with Skype for elders to speak to other family members in other countries.

We are currently residing in Lagos, but are willing to travel were needed.
